She works in account management for a software company. Since Anne works from home, she is often found in her pajamas.
When she does get dressed, Anne loves to travel, read books and play in the mountains.
was born in Sun Valley, ID in 1979 (yes, Anne is aware that she is a cradle robber) and grew up in Steamboat Springs, CO.
Will is a web developer during the day (and sometimes late into the night).
He loves the internets, playing hockey and designing and building furniture.
Anne and Will's paths crossed several times during college at CU, but never close enough to intersect.
In August, 2003, their good friends, Jake and Alyssa Pearson, got married in Steamboat. On the first evening, Will and Anne found themselves sitting next to each other at the Slopeside Grill, where their friends had gathered for drinks. Neither of them remember exactly what they talked about, just that the other person was intriguing (and cute!).
They had a fabulous weekend—culminating in Will walking Anne back to her hotel after the wedding ceremony. Anne fully anticipated a good-night kiss, but was perplexed when instead she got a quick hug before Will ran away. The next morning Anne drove back to her home in Boulder and Will flew back to his loft in Long Beach, CA.
Later that week Will posted on his website that he did indeed really like Anne, thought she was smart, funny and cute, and that he regretted not kissing her over the weekend.
The entry was sweet and funny, so Anne emailed Will back. Emails turned into phone calls, which turned into a long-distance relationship with visits between Long Beach and Boulder (and trips to San Francisco, Maui and Steamboat peppered in).
After dating for a few years, Anne and Will decided to take the plunge—and move to the same city. Will decided he missed the hippies (and his friends and Anne) in Boulder so much that he wanted to move back. Anne was thrilled. They adopted a kitty and have lived happily ever since then.
Will asked Anne to marry him in August, 2006 (and of course she accepted). They are very excited for the wedding, and even more excited for their marriage.
